Our beloved Spock (1978-1991) is featured in the header photo, in a photo from 1979. These are some of my LPs, themed compilations, and the like. The Human Condition - Darryl Way with Opus 20

Here's a 1988 LP which may seem profound to some.  To me, it's of a kind with lots of New Age noodling which meanders around without really arriving at a statement.

What makes this more impressive is that several people had to coordinate to produce this sense of going-nowhere.

Darryl Way with Opus 20 - The Human Condition (Suite for String Orchestra, Piano and Percussion) (38:47)
01. The Pursuit of Pleasure (4:25)
02. Flirtation, Infatuation (4:01)
03. The Eternal Struggle (5:38)
04. Age of Innocence (5:20)
05. Thirst for Power (4:33)
06. The Chase (4:10)
07. Corridor of Uncertainty (5:25)
08. Spirit (5:15)
Hope somebody out there likes it; the gruel is thin in my bowl

See you on Monday!

  1. Thanks for this. The short-lived Venture label interests me enough to lend an ear even after your negative assessment.
