This is a really fun record.
Mystery Release!
I found this album -- I'm 90% sure that the album title was called Chicago in the 1920s - An Album of Hot Jazz -- in the 1980s.
I dubbed it onto cassette, and after the Great LP Purge of 2008, I only had the cassette.
I have searched high and low for any album that might be this one, so as to provide you with performers, provenance, etc. But I've found naught. I had to come up with my own packaging, and alas! many of the song titles are unknown.
BUT THIS IS GREAT STUFF!
It's "modern" performances of "hot jazz" numbers from the Twenties.
12 tracks; Track 12 is "St Louis Blues"

Looks interesting. Thank you!
