This is a fantastic Christmas album. The Swingles' arrangements weave in and out, reminding you of a daredevil flock of birds who seem to be completely chaotic in their sky-carousing. But they never clash, and you can see afterwards what a pattern had been there all along.

Evidently this is some obscure release, because I couldn't find a listing of this album anywhere, when I checked. So this share isn't taking sales away from them.
By turns clever, humorous, and (sounding) worshipful, this is great Christmas music for anybody who wants their Christmas music in the foreground, to listen to.

See you Thursday, fellow deep-freeze dwellers!
Thanks Mano! Sounds promising. Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteIt's downright stunning! I've listened to most other SS recordings, and this takes the first place for clever arrangements and honorable performances.
