About This Blog!

Our beloved Spock (1978-1991) is featured in the header photo, in a photo from 1979. These are some of my LPs, themed compilations, and the like. PLEASE NOTE that since my previous host FileFactory has made itself useless, I am slowly but surely updating to DRIME. Please be patient, and email me with comments or questions to msuperfan1956@gmail.com – note that comments sent through Blogger DO NOT allow a personal response.

The Christmas Drummer Boy

This version of the LP must have been in release by 1965.  My original copy (this isn't THAT) is verra worn, as my aulde Schottische grandmae mocht hae sayd.

The tracks are:

01. Drummer Boy (2:34)
02. Santa Claus Is Coming to Town (1:44)
03. Up on the House Top (1:39)
04. Rudolph, The Red-Nosed Reindeer (2:36)
05. Parade of the Wooden Soldiers (2:32)
06. Jingle Bells (2:35)
07. Joy to the World (1:13)
08. The Twelve Days of Christmas (3:15)
09. I Saw Three Ships (1:11)
10. Silent Night (2:43)
11. Babes in Toyland (3:31)
12. Deck the Halls (2:02)
13. We Wish You a Merry Christmas (1:47)

This is charming in a 1960s kitsch type of way -- kind of like me!  They had a big chorus, but only the budget for a $3.98 electric organ from TG&Y (it sounds like it, anyway).

This is NOT my very worn copy, it sounds a mite better overall.  I hope you can hold your nose and open your heart.  Ho-ho-ho, who wouldn't go!

See you Thursday!
