MA-63 - 45s & Favorites, Disc 9

More dynamite songs from a youth that was gonna outshine them all.

I read Hunter Davies's The Beatles and was intrigued to learn that some Beatles writings were noted by date written.  I took it to heart and nearly all of my 100+ songs, 100+ poems, and other scribblings have dates (even times of day) memorialized for the scholars who would one day be assembling my Compleat Workes.  Ahh, well.

And this music was the kind of stuff I was going to be famous for, stuff like this! (only probably not as good)

1 -  Maybe Tomorrow        Badfinger    1970        (2:59)
2 - 25 or 6 to 4 (single version)        Chicago        1970        (2:53)
3 -  You've Got a Friend (live)        Carole King (with James Taylor) 1971 (5:10)
4 - Roll in My Sweet Baby's Arms Leon Russell 1973 (4:29)
5 - Bad Company Bad Company 1974 (4:50)
6 - The School of Instant Pain Triumvirat (from Spartacus) 1975 (6:24)
7 - Juan's Reckless Daughter - Coyote (edit) Joni Mitchell 1976-1977 (11:09)
8 - Here Come Those Tears Again Jackson Browne 1977 (3:40)
9 - Cat Scratch Fever Ted Nugent 1977 (3:43)
10 - Because the Night  Patti Smith 1978 (3:25)
11 - Long Hot Summer Nights Wendy Waldman 1978 (4:11)
12 - Life During Wartime    Talking Heads 1979 (3:44)
13 -  Crying   Don McLean 1980 (3:45)
14 - Whip It (live) Devo 1981 (2:51)
15 - Bad Reputation Joan Jett & the Blackhearts 1981 (2:53)
16 - Precious Time Pat Benatar 1981 (6:04)
17 - Destination Unknown Missing Persons 1982 (3:37)
18 - Rock the Casbah The Clash 1982 (3:43)

What a plethora of musical styles and temperaments!
