"The Jazz All-Stars" -- or "The Secret Agents" -- Play Just for You!

This set of session musicians knew when they found a gold mine: the spy craze of the 1960s.  These guys were in such a hurry to make a few bucks that they grabbed a handful of secret agent tunes, dashed off homemade arrangements on the back of a piece of wallpaper, and got to work.

They rented a wetsuit to imitate James Bond in Thunderball, got somebody's girlfriend to suck in her stomach, and dressed the blond guy in black to imitate Illya Kuryakin.

(Note the bombs with their labels THRUSH and SPECTRE.)

They figured they could make even more money by releasing ANOTHER record, with many of the same tracks, and credit the LPs  to TWO DIFFERENT COMBOS -- The Secret Agents and The Jazz All-Stars.  And so they did!

And they would have gotten away with it, too -- if not for those meddling kids and their stupid dog!

The first 10 tracks are from the THUNDERBALL The Man from U.N.C.L.E. & Other Secret Agent Themes album.  The last three tracks are the only ones not common to BOTH albums!

1     -     Thunderball
2     -     From Russia With Love
3     -     The Spy Who Came in from the Cold
4     -     Win, Lose or Spy
5     -     Under Cover Agent Theme
6     -     I Spy
7     -     Ipcress File Theme
8     -     Theme from The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
9 - The Saboteur
10 - Majorca Express

BONUS TRACKS
(as “The Secret Agents”)

11 - Mission Impossible
12 - Theme from Star Trek
13 - Theme from Mannix

See you Thursday.
