It Says So Right on the Label

This album is from 1966, part of the era during which TV shows actually HAD themes.  And, these themes are so amazing, they were covered dozens of times!
01. King Kong (2:26)
02. It's About Time (2:14)
03. Alice Is Coming to Tea (3:03)
04. Theme from "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." (1:45)
05. Batman (3:00)
06. Tarzan (3:06)
07. Flipper (2:17)
08. The Mystery Theme (3:16)
09. Clarence the Cross-Eyed Lion (2:23)
10. Green Hornet Theme (2:09)
Pretty competent, more so than I expected considering the plethora of cash-in albums around this date.  All vocals are OK.

PERMANENT LINK.

“Batman” is kinda disappointing because of the slow tempo.  “Tarzan” has several inserts of the Tarzan yell.  The “Special Mystery Theme” is just the Lone Ranger Overture.  The singer of “Clarence” does a pretty good Roger Miller imitation.  Sadly, the last track has folks chanting “Green Hornet” a la “Batman.”

See you Thursday, Bat-Fans!
