Spook a Little or a Lot

Here's a trio of releases to make you smile or cringe.

Spooky Hollow - Halloween Compact Disc:

This mishmash of sounds was hawked by the craft/fabric chain "Jo-Ann Stores, Inc" in 2001.  It's a single-track of run-of-the-graveyard noises.

Fright Night Scary Sounds - Sterling Entertainment Group:

This one is a 2003 disc with no digital footprint, as far as MusicBrainz and other online databases know.  It’s one track.

It’s a typical mishmash of heartbeats, thunder, synth chords in minor keys, screams, and such.  I listened all the way through.  Do YOU dare to do the same?

I know that some of those synth chord changes and howls appear somewhere else, on another Halloween-themed release.  I only wish I could tell you who stole from who!  (Or maybe it’s somebody repeating their own self!)

Discogs has a listing but no information!  https://www.discogs.com/release/10352479-No-Artist-Fright-Night-Scary-Sounds.  I don’t know why Discogs says it’s a 1999 release.  As you will read, the CD rear gives a copyright date of 2003.

This 2009 release might be more to your liking.  Like yours truly, it's cheesy but fun!  Let these three semi-frights tide you over until Wednesday.  How long can you hold YOUR breath?
