Here's the wonderfully appropriate and evocative underscore for the great 1974 classic film Young Frankenstein, The score by John Morris paints a perfect mind picture, through sound, of the tragic tale of a man who tries to escape his heritage but, through an unexpected inheritance, is forced to confront his family demons and make peace with them.
Since this is a bootleg, the tracks have no individual titles.
1-36: Film Soundtrack Score
37: Young Frankenstein Main Title (Album Version)
38: Puttin' on the Ritz ((Album Version)
39: Theme from “Young Frankenstein” - Rhythm Heritage (1975)
40: Theme from “Young Frankenstein” - The Madeira (2010)
So, the first 36 tracks are from the film. The next two tracks are from the 1978 release Mel Brooks' Greatest Hits: The Music of John Morris , which I shared last year (Link: High Anxiety).
The final two tracks are tribute performances of the "theme" from the film, the middle European lullaby by John Morris, a lovely melody.
THANKS A LOT!
