Does Scary Count?

It's a silly little put-on or take-off by a local TV personality.
01. We Wish You a Scary Christmas (2:58)
02. Jingle Bells (2:18)

CKLW (800 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station in Windsor, Ontario, serving Southwestern Ontario and Metro Detroit.  This promo single came out in 1984.  Count Scary was a nom de bat of Tom Ryan.  A fansite can be found at http://www.detroitkidshow.com/.  (Or, it USED to exist!)

See you on Thursday to begin a New Year of silly fun!

Are You Thirsty?

You might be satisfied with this 2000 release, but I feel parched.
01. Thunderstorm Night (5:03)
02. Vampire Song (4:50)
03. Killing Screams (7:24)
04. Dracula's Castle (5:33)
05. Bloodless Face (7:01)
06. Vampire Dance (5:15)
07. Nightmare (5:04)
08. Offering Dance (4:59)
09. Bloody Flood (5:19)
10. Feelings of Fright (5:21)

Wow, what a disappointment!  The vocals over the not-scary beats are over the top.  Some of the sound effects are from Disney’s Haunted House record, I would swear.  The “laughing” heard in the track “Vampire’s Dance” sounds like the laugh of Robby the Werewolf run through a distorter.

See you Monday for our last week of SPOOKY SPOCK-TOBER!
