Give 'em the Finger!

... Because a deformed ring finger was one of the ways to detect AN INVADER.

The 1967-68 was instrumental in making a bunch of us Sixties kids distrustful of the Space Brother scenarios promulgated by the likes of George Adamski or Truman Bethurum.  What if the aliens weren't here to help ... they were just HUNGRY!?!?!?
